Step 1: Connect Your Email or SMS Provider

To send campaigns via Dubb, first connect your preferred email or SMS provider:

  1. Go to your Dubb Settings
    Navigate to Settings > Team and Campaign Settings.





  2. Choose the Provider Type
    Select either Email or SMS.


  3. Select Your Provider

    • For Gmail or Outlook: Use direct API integration. If you're logged in, the connection is automatic.

    • For providers like SendGrid, Mailgun, or other SMTPs: Enter your SMTP server info, port, and sender address.

  4. Save Your Connection
    You can connect multiple email/SMS accounts for different campaigns.

Important: Each provider has daily send limits, especially new Gmail or Outlook accounts. To prevent blocks, gradually scale up sending (a warm-up process).


Step 2: Add and Tag Your Contacts

Before launching a campaign, upload and tag your contacts:

  1. Go to Contacts
    Navigate to Contacts > Import CSV.




  2. Upload Your List
    Use a CSV file with contact details. Make sure to assign a Tag for segmentation (e.g., “Webinar Leads” or “Free Trial Users”).

  3. Assign a Contact Owner
    This is useful for larger teams to manage accountability.


Step 3: Create Your Email or SMS Campaign

You can launch a campaign from either a video page or the Campaigns section.

From a Video Page

  1. Click Share & Send on a specific video.




  2. Choose your connected email/SMS provider.

  3. Select or enter:

    • One email address

    • Multiple emails

    • A Tag (to auto-fill many recipients)





  4. Add a subject line and personalized text (e.g., “Hi {{firstName}}, here’s a video just for you”).


  5. Customize the message body and hit Send Now.

From the Campaigns Section

  1. Navigate to Campaigns > New Campaign.

  2. Input:

    • Title

    • Sender email

    • Optional From Name

    • Subject line

    • Sharing options (e.g., just your team)


  3. Select your Video for the campaign.

  4. Save and continue to proceed.


  5. Write your message with personalization tokens like {{firstName}}.


  6. Send a Test Email to preview the layout.

  7. Enroll Recipients using:

    • Direct email input

    • Tagged list

    • Exclusion tags (to skip specific segments)

  8. Choose to:

    • Send Now, or

    • Schedule for Later


Step 4: Track Campaign Performance

Once a campaign is sent, monitor its effectiveness in real-time:

  • Open Rates

  • Click Rates

  • Video Watches

  • CTA Clicks

All campaign metrics are displayed under the Campaigns dashboard.


Step 5: Delete or Edit Campaigns

To remove or edit an existing campaign:

  1. Go to Campaigns.

  2. Locate the campaign you want to update or delete.

  3. Click on the Pencil Icon to Edit and Trash Icon to Delete:

    • Choose Edit to make changes.

    • Select Delete to remove it permanently.

You can also duplicate previous campaigns for faster reuse.


Troubleshooting and Best Practices

  • New Email Accounts: Start with small batches to avoid throttling.

  • Sending Limits: Check your provider’s cap and avoid exceeding it.

  • Use Tags Wisely: They simplify segmenting and bulk sending.

  • Test Before Sending: Always send a test email or SMS to yourself.
