Video SMS Configuration and Setup

Instructions for sending video SMS messages via the Dubb website, including configuration and campaign setup.

To send video SMS messages using Dubb, follow these steps:

A. Configure Your SMS Service

  1. Connect Your SMS Provider:

    • Ensure you have a text message provider and have completed 10DLC and campaign/brand registration.

    • Note: Twilio allows SMS replies within Dubb; other providers handle replies within their apps.

  2. Configure SMS Settings:

  3. For SalesMessage:

    • Sign up for accounts on Dubb and SalesMessage.

    • Connect SalesMessage in Dubb's settings. Video Tutorial

  4. For Twilio:

    • Copy and paste the AUTH TOKEN, SID, and Number into Dubb.

    • Configure replies using Dubb’s Two-way SMS feature. Setup Guide

  5. For Amazon:

    • Access the AWS Console.

    • Create a new Access Key and note the Access Key ID and Secret.

    • Enter these details into Dubb, select your region, and leave the Sender ID blank.

B. Build SMS Campaigns

  1. Create a New Campaign:

    • Go to the Dubb Dashboard.

    • Select "Campaign" > "SMS" and click "+New."

  2. Configure Campaign:

    • Title the campaign.

    • Choose the Broadcast Provider (Amazon or Twilio).

    • Enter your SMS text and include {{video-url}}.

    • Select the video to send.

    • Enter recipients or use inclusion/exclusion lists.

  3. Send or Schedule:

    • Send the campaign immediately or schedule it for a future date.

C. Build SMS Workflows

  1. Create a New Workflow:

    • Visit the Dubb Dashboard.

    • Select "Automation" > "SMS" and click "+New."

  2. Configure Workflow:

    • Title the workflow.

    • Choose the Broadcast Provider (Amazon or Twilio).

    • Enter SMS text with {{video-url}} and select the video.

  3. Add to Workflow:

    • Save SMS to be included in a workflow.

    • Create or edit a workflow to include the SMS campaign.

    • Enroll contacts using tags; ensure contacts are opt-in.

  4. Launch Workflow:

    • Set to trigger workflow once per contact.

Note: Proper configuration ensures smooth SMS campaigns and workflows, enhancing communication and tracking.
