These are instructions for sending video SMS messages from the Dubb website.

This article covers:
A. How to configure your SMS service to Dubb (Twilio, Amazon, Salesmessage)
B. How to build SMS Campaigns
C. How to Build SMS Workflows

Configuring SMS Service

The first step in building SMS campaigns and/or workflows is to connect either your Twilio account or an Amazon AWS account.

Be aware, Twilio will allow SMS replies but Amazon will not, and Salesmessage allows for two way SMS conversations, as well as the ability for SMS recipients to call the number the SMS was sent from

Below are links and screenshots showing which credentials match which fields for both services:

Visit the settings/broadcast settings section of Dubb ( https://dubb.com/settings/broadcast-settings), click the add new configuration button, then select SMS and choose either Twilio or Amazon.

For Salesmessage message:

Step 1. Sign up for an account on Dubb, then sign up for an account on Salesmessage

Step 2. Connect Sales Message to Dubb in Dubb's settings:

Here is a quick video showing how to make this connection:

For Twilio:
Visit the console: https://www.twilio.com/console
Then, unhide the AUTH TOKEN, and match the credentials to the fields shown in the screenshots below.

For the sending number visit this URL: https://www.twilio.com/console/phone-numbers/incoming and copy the number depicted as Figure 3 in the screenshot below

Configure Replies to use Dubbs's Two-way SMS
feature with Twilio, so you can chat back and forth with your contacts

For Amazon:
Visit your Amazon AWS console, the URL will be different depending on your location.
https://us-west-2.console.aws.amazon.com/
Next click your username in the top right and then select "My Security Credentials"
When you click the button to "Create New Access Key" this will create a new access key
-The "Access Key ID" on AWS goes to the "AWS Key*" on Dubb
-The "AWS Secret" is only viewable when you first generate an Access Key.
-The "SnS Region" will be dependent upon your location, and is visible in the same section as the Access Key and AWS Secret. On Dubb, there is a drop down selector so you can choose your region.
-The "Sender ID" you can leave blank

How to Build SMS Campaigns

After you have configured an SMS service visit the Dubb Dashboard.
From the left navigation, select "Campaign" and then "SMS"
Click "+New" to create a new SMS campaign. (See GIF)

1. Title the campaign
2. Select Broadcast Provider (Amazon or Twilio)
3. Enter the text you want to send in your SMS, do not delete the {{video-url}}
4. Select the video you want to send

5. Choose recipients of your SMS campaign by either entering one phone number per line, or by using an Inclusion and/or Exclusion list
Be aware, if you enter only phone numbers the tracking will not show you contact specific reporting.

6. Send your SMS Campaign right away, or schedule it for a future date using the date selector

How to Build SMS Workflows

After you have configured an SMS service visit the Dubb Dashboard.
From the left navigation, select "Automation" and then "SMS"
Click "+New" to create a new SMS Campaign. (See GIF)
1. Title the campaign (Name of message/date is helpful)
2. Select Broadcast Provider (Amazon or Twilio)
3. Enter the text you want to send in your SMS, do not delete the {{video-url}}
4. Select the video you want to send
5. Save the SMS to be included in a workflow

6a. Create a workflow, or edit an existing workflow to include the SMS campaign you created in the previous steps.
Workflows can consists of both emails and SMS messages.
6b. You can only enroll a contact into a workflow by using tags, you will not be able to enter phone numbers as you could with SMS campaigns.
Contacts must be tagged and have a mobile phone listed before they can be enrolled in a SMS workflow.
Contacts MUST BE OPT-IN, otherwise you risk the repercussions of sending unsolicited SMS messages.

7. After you have built the workflow, the last step is to launch the workflow.
It is recommended to retain the default setting to only trigger the workflow once per contact.
