Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Access Your Video Library
Log in to your Dubb account.
Navigate to the Videos section from the left-hand menu.
Select the video you want to edit. You'll land on the video detail page.
Step 2: Open the Editor
On the video detail page, click the Editing tab.
This opens the timeline-based editor where you can see visual thumbnails of your video.
Step 3: Playback and Navigation Tools
Use the following tools to preview and navigate your video:
⏮ Go to First Frame: Jump back to the beginning of the timeline.
▶ | ⏸ Play/Pause Button: Play or Pause the video from the current frame.
⏭ Go to Last Frame: Jump back to the end of the timeline.
🔇| 🔊 Mute/ Unmute Button: Mute or Unmute the sound.
⮌ Undo Button: Undo previous actions.
↻ Redo Button: Redo previous actions.
✄ Split Clip Button: Split the selected clip.
🗑️ Delete Clip: Deletes the selected clip.
This gives you full control over the exact moment you want to make edits.
Step 4: Split a Clip
Move the playhead (vertical line) to the point where you want to split the video.
Click the Split Clip ✂️ button.
The clip will now be divided into two segments.
This is ideal for removing middle sections or inserting transitions later.
Step 5: Delete a Clip
Select the clip segment you want to remove.
Click the Delete Clip 🗑 button.
Don’t worry—your original video remains safely stored until you publish your changes.
Step 6: Finalize Your Edits
Once you're done with splitting and deleting:
Click the Save Changes icon.
Use the Preview function to review the final cut before sharing or embedding the video.
