Step-by-Step Instructions: How to Trim a Video on Dubb
1. Upload or Select a Video
First, log into your Dubb dashboard.
Upload a new video or select an existing video you want to edit.
2. Navigate to the Editing Tab
Click on your video to open it.
Select the "Edit" tab at the top.
Here you’ll see the Visual Trimmer interface.
3. Preview and Locate the Trim Points
Use the play, pause, fast-forward, or first frame buttons to preview your video.
Drag the timeline to zoom in for more detailed frame-by-frame editing.
4. Split the Clip
Once you reach the start of the section you want to remove, click Split Clip.
Play the video until you find where you want the unwanted section to end.
Split the clip again.
5. Delete the Trimmed Section
Click on the isolated segment and select Delete Clip, or simply press the delete key on your keyboard.
6. Undo a Trim (If Needed)
If you accidentally deleted the wrong part:
Go to the top of the editor and click Download Original.
Then scroll down and click Replace Video.
Upload the original file again to restore the full version of the video.
7. Trim the End or Beginning
You can use the same method to remove awkward starts or endings (like looking down to hit “stop”).
8. Save Your Changes
After trimming, click Save to apply your edits.
Your video will now play seamlessly without the removed sections.
