This article explains how and why thumbnail preview images appear and sometimes do not appear when sending a Dubb video via text message
If you are sending a video link from a mobile device, and the person has never responded to a text message from you before, it will not show a preview
As long as the person has previously responded, you can send just the URL fof the video and their mobile carrier will automatically provide a clickable preview of the video connected to the link
If you are sending the link from a web based sms tool, like twilio, google voice etc, it will not automatically generate a preview from the link.
Some tools, like Dubb, allow you to include the preview automatically, while others allow you to include an attachment of an image

How do I get a thumbnail or animated gif to appear when sending a Dubb video via sms
