Step-by-Step: How to Send a Dubb Video via SMS

Here's a quick video:

Step 1: Open the Dubb Mobile App

Start by launching the Dubb mobile app on your iOS or Android device.

Step 2: Choose the Video You Want to Send

From your library of videos, select the one you wish to share. Tap the three-dot menu (⋮) next to the video.

Step 3: Download the GIF Preview

In the options menu:

  • Tap “Download GIF” to save the animated preview of your video to your mobile device.
This GIF will visually enhance your SMS and increase the likelihood of engagement.

Step 4: Copy the Video Link for SMS

Still in the options menu, select “Copy URL for SMS.”
This copies a shortened Dubb link to your clipboard, which can be pasted directly into your message.

Step 5: Compose Your SMS Message

Now go to your SMS/text messaging app:

  • Select your recipient

  • Write a brief message introducing or providing context for your video (e.g., “Hey John, quick video for you!”)

  • Paste the video link from your clipboard

Step 6: Attach the Downloaded GIF

Attach the GIF file you just downloaded. This adds a visual cue that reinforces the value of your video and makes your message more eye-catching.
