This article explains how to use the teleprompter feature from the Dubb Mobile App. Teleprompters are useful when you want to say a particular script or ensure that your videos are concise and impactful, without memorizing.

To add your scripts, you can start with a script you wrote or use the Dubb AI writing assistant, available on the Dubb mobile app, desktop app, Chrome extension, or website.

Make a more specific teleprompter video (add more detailed prompt details). Add to teleprompter when done and read your script.

To access the Teleprompter on the Dubb Mobile App

  1. Open the Dubb Mobile App

  2. Click the blue Camera icon

3. Click the teleprompter icon.

4. Select or search for a teleprompter script

You may manually type your script/outline or use the copy-and-paste feature of your mobile phone.

The teleprompter also allows you to make real-time edits to your script.

5. Once your script is selected on your device, you can increase or decrease the size of the font by pinching.

6. You can also increase or decrease the Scroll speed of the teleprompter by moving the controls left or right.

If you are on an iPhone, you can select auto-track which will use speech recognition software to track your teleprompter reading. To do this, click the cogwheel, select Auto track, and allow the Dubb App to access speech recognition for auto-tracking teleprompter as prompted.

We recommend taking a moment to optimize the teleprompter's size, speed, and location to suit your needs. These settings are sticky, so you only have to set them up once, and the app will remember them.
