Step-by-Step Instructions
Here’s how to disable tracking on your Dubb video:
Step 1: Navigate to the Videos Section
From your Dubb Dashboard, click on the “Videos” tab in the left-hand menu.
This will show your full video library.
Step 2: Select the Video
Click on the video you want to edit. You’ll see a preview, title, and video stats (views, emojis, watch time, etc.).
Step 3: Go to the “Details” Tab
On the video page, click the “Details” tab at the top. This tab allows you to adjust various video settings including titles, CTAs, and permissions.
Step 4: Scroll to Advanced Options
Scroll down the page until you see “Advanced Options.”
Step 5: Check the "Disable Tracking" Box
You will see an option labeled “Disable tracking.”
Check this box to disable all tracking for the selected video.
A tooltip will appear confirming: “Your video will not track analytics data.”
Note: Once disabled, you won’t receive insights such as who watched your video or how long they watched it.
When Should You Disable Tracking?
Internal Team Demos – to avoid skewing data with test views
Client Previews – when analytics aren’t needed
Compliance Purposes – when required by legal or company policies
You can always re-enable tracking by unchecking the same box.
