Dubb Ava is your AI video assistant that helps you create short, engaging videos from a simple text prompt—perfect for intros, hooks, social content, pitches, and more.

This guide walks you step by step through creating an AI-generated video using Ava inside your Dubb dashboard.

Step 1: Open Ava in Your Dubb Dashboard

  1. Log in to your Dubb dashboard

  2. Click the red camera icon at the top of the screen

  3. In the camera interface navigation, go all the way to the right and select Prompt

This opens Ava, your AI video assistant.

Tip: Hover over the tooltips throughout the page. They provide helpful guidance at each step.

Step 2: Choose Your Video Type

Open the Video Type dropdown and select the format that best fits your goal. Available options include:

  • Intro

  • Hook

  • Greeting

  • User-generated content (UGC)

  • Social media video

  • Commercial

  • Pitch video

  • Outro / hook

Choosing the right video type helps Ava shape the structure and tone of your video.

Step 3: Write Your Video Prompt

In the Video Prompt / Description field, describe what you want the video to be about.

  • If you have a clear vision, be as specific as possible

  • If you’re not sure what to write, Ava can still help with a simple prompt

The more detail you provide, the more closely the result will match your intent.

Step 4: Select an Audience Profile

On the right side, click the Profile icon to define who the video is for.

Examples:

  • Real estate buyer

  • Real estate seller

  • Recruiting candidate

  • Employer prospect

Once profiles are created, Ava uses them to tailor messaging, tone, and context. Select the appropriate audience before continuing.

Important Content Limitation

Ava cannot generate videos using real people’s faces, including:

  • Yourself

  • Celebrities

  • Public figures or historical figures

This ensures ethical and compliant AI video generation.

Step 5: Choose Video Size and Duration

  1. Select Landscape or Portrait video orientation

  2. Choose your video length:

    • 4 seconds

    • 8 seconds

    • 12 seconds

Hover over the tooltips if you’re unsure which format works best for your use case.

Step 6: Generate Video Concepts (Optional but Recommended)

Click Generate Concepts to have Ava create:

  • 1 primary concept

  • 2 alternate variations

You can:

  • Edit individual concepts directly

  • Click Edit Prompt to return and make broader changes

Review carefully and choose the version that best matches your message.

Step 7: Generate Your Video

When you’re ready, click Generate Video.

  • Your video will enter the processing queue

  • You can generate another video or return to the dashboard

  • You’ll receive an email notification once the video is ready

  • The video will appear in your Video Library

Step 8: (Optional) Use the Video as an Intro or Playlist Item

If you want this AI video to flow into another video:

  1. Open the video’s Edit page

  2. Go to the Details tab

  3. Add a second video to the playlist

You can also use Presets to automate playlists and setups entirely.

Step 9: Configure Calls to Action and AI Assistant

Before sharing your video, make sure:

  • Calls to Action are set correctly

  • Your AI Assistant is configured on the video landing page

This ensures viewers know exactly what to do next.

Step 10: Share or Download Your Video

You can now:

  • Share via email, SMS, or any channel

  • Download the video by clicking the MP4 button on the Video Edit page

Your AI-generated video is ready to use.

Summary

With Dubb Ava, you can create AI-generated videos that are:

  • Fast to produce

  • Intentional by design

All from a simple prompt, directly inside your Dubb dashboard.
