The resolution at which videos are recorded on Dubb is determined by multiple factors including the plan you’re on, the device you’re using, and the default resolution of your device (phone, monitor resolution, webcam (internal or external).

Here is the logic of recording resolution:

SCREEN VIDEOS
Free plans - The default resolution for screen recordings (using the Dubb Chrome Extension) is HD 720P.
Paid plans - The default resolution for screen recordings (using the Dubb Chrome Extension) is HD 1080P.

WEBCAM VIDEOS
Free plans - The default resolution for screen recordings (using the Dubb Mobile App) is HD 360P.
Paid plans - The default resolution for screen recordings (using the Dubb Mobile App) is HD 720P.

DUBB MOBILE APP
Free plans - The default resolution for screen recordings (using the Dubb Mobile App) is HD 720P.
Paid plans - The default resolution for screen recordings (using the Dubb Mobile App) is HD 1080P.

PLAYING

The resolution at which videos are played on Dubb is determined by multiple factors including the WIFI connection speed of the end user, the recorded resolution, and the device/screen size that the video is being viewed on.
